Kalima Radi kufar
The term “Radde kukr” literally means “to reject disbelief or renounce infidelity”. Following the first, second, third, fourth and 5th kalimas the sixth kalima is the final one in Islam. In this kalima a believer seeks refuge in Allah, expressing a strong aversion to disbelief and infidelity. The believer also reaffirms the oneness of Allah, turning away from lying, backbiting, and other major and minor sins.
Sixth Kalima Radi kufar in English Translation
Kalima Radde kufr in Arabic states that:
چھٹا کلمہ ردِ كفر:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أنْ أشركَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَآ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّاْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكِذَّبِ وَالْغِيْبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيْمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا وَاسْلَمْتُ وَ أقُولُ لَآ إلَهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ°
Kalima Radde kufr translated in english as:
O Allah! Verily, I seek refuge in thee, that I may associate with thee that which I know, and seek thy forgiveness for that which I do not know, and I have repented of it, and I have repented from disbelief, and polytheism, and falsehood, and divination, and heresy, and from deceit, and indecency, and from slander, and from all sins. I am that there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Types of Disbelief (kufar)
The major types of kufr from which every believer must restrain are:
* Kuff-bil-Qawl ( disbelief Express verbally)
* Kuff-bil-FIL (disbelief expressed through action)
* Kuff-bil-Itiqad ( disbelief of conviction)
* Kuff-bil-Akbar ( major type of disbelief)
* Kuff-bil-Asghar (major type of disbelief)
Radi Kufur in the Light Hadiths:
Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (SAW) stated about Radde kufr that:
“Indeed, between a believer and idolatry and disbelief is abandoning the prayer”. Sahih Muslim 82
He (SAW) also highlighted kufr as:
“Clashing with a believer is kufr and defaming hum is evil doing.” Sanan An- Nasa’i 4113
Importance of Sixth Kalima Raddi Kufar:
The word “Kufr” means to conceal. In kalima radee kufr , a disbeliver is Targeted as the conceals the truth of Allah, his oneness & sovereignty. This kalima teaches as the important concept of disbelief in Islam, which yourself is a vast topic. It assists a Muslim to strongly believe in Allah as his God, and Islam as his religion. Moreover, 6th kalma commits believers to step back from our source of major and minor sins such as backbiting, bad innovations, tale-tellimgs, etc.
