Surah An Naziat is the 79th chapter of the Holy Quran, meaning ” Those who Drag Forth.” It was revealed in Mecca and consists of 46 verses and two rukus. This Surah was found in juz 30.
It opens with a depiction of angles swiftly executing Allah’s commands, surging forward on the day of judgement. This Surah then illustrates the dramatic upheavals of that day, including the earth quaking, mountains being uprooted, and seas overflowing. It emphasizes the resurrection of the dead and the ensuring accountability. Additionally, it warns against the arrogance and denial of those who reject the hereafter while reassuring believers that their righteous actions will be rewarded.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
التَّرْعَتِ غَرْقًا وَ النَّشِطَتِ نَشْطَاهُ وَالسُّحْتِ سَبْحَاهُ لا فَالسَّبِقَتِ سَبْقَاهُ فَالْمُدَيْرَاتِ أَمْرًا يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ . تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ : قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ هُ يَقُولُونَ وَإِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ * وَإِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَخِرَةً قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذَا كَرَّةً خَاسِرَةٌ فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ * هَلْ أَتَنكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَى وَ إِذْ نَادَيهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى وَاذْهَبْ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى فَقُلْ هَلْ لَّكَ إِلَى أَنْ تَزَلَّى ، وَاهْدِيَكَ إِلَى رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَى°فَأَرْبَهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَى فَكَذَّبَ وَعَطَى ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَى فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَى فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى ، فَأَخَذَهُ اللهُ تَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولى ، إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَى وَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءِ بَنْهَا رَفَعَ سَبْكَهَا فَسَوْهَا وَ أَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَ أَخْرَجَ ضُحْهَا وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ دَحْهَا أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَ مَرْعُهَا وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسُهَا مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ ط وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الظَّامَةُ الْكُبْرَى يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَى وَ بُرْزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَى فَأَنَا مَنْ طَغَى وَأَثَرَ الْحَيُوةَ الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى * وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى يَسْتَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسُهَا فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَهَا إِلى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَهَا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشُهَا ع كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحُهَا°
Translation to Surah An Naziat
Beginning in the name of Allah , the Most Merciful , the Most Merciful .
By the angels who drown and take their lives.
And those who take out their lives easily.
And those who swim fast.
Then they move forward.
Then they manage the affairs of the world.
The day it shakes, the earthquake.
Then he will come after him and the earthquake.
How many hearts will be afraid that day.
Their eyes will be bowed.
They say, “Will we be returned in the first place?”
When we become bones hollow?
It is said that it will be a complete loss to return again.
So it’ll just be scolded once.
At that time they will all come together.
Has it come to you the story of Moses?
When he called upon him his Lord in the holy plain of Tawa .
Go to Pharaoh, surely he has become rebellious.
Then say, “Do you want it to be purified?”
And I will show thee the way of thy Lord, that thou mayest fear.
So he showed him a great sign.
But he denied and did not believe.
Then he returned and started making plans.
So he gathered together and called out to the people again.
So he said, “I am your Lord the greatest.”
So you caught him Allah punished him in the Hereafter and the world.
Verily, he has power over him who fears Allah.
Is it difficult for you to make it, or has God made it of heaven?
He raised his roof again.
And darkened his night, and brought out the sunshine in his day.
And spread out the earth after that.
He took out his water and his fodder out of it.
And he placed the mountains on him.
Benefit for you and for your cattle.
Then when it comes, that disaster is very big.
On that day man will remember what happened.
And it will be brought before the one who sees hell.
Therefore, the one who rebelled.
And put life first of this world.
So hell is his abode.
And it was they who feared standing before their Lord, and stopped themselves from vain desires.
Verily, paradise is his abode.
They ask you about the Day of Resurrection when it will come.
So what do you do with the mention of him?
Your Arabic knows the time it happened.
You are only a warner to him who fears him .
So such a thing They will think the day they see it as if they were no more in the world, but one evening or morning.
شروع اللّٰہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت ہی رحم والا ہے ۔
ان فرشتوں کی قسم جو ڈوب کر جان کھینچ لیتے ہیں۔
اور ان کی جو نکالتے ہیں جان آسانی سے۔
اور ان کی جو تیرتے ہوئے جاتے ہیں تیزی سے۔
پھر آگے بڑھتے ہیں لپک کر۔
پھر انتظام کرتے ہیں دنیا کے کاموں کا۔
جس دن ہلا ڈالے گا وہ زلزلہ۔
پھر اس کے پیچھے آئے گا اور زلزلہ۔
کتنے ہی دل اس دن خوفزدہ ہوں گے۔
ان کی آنکھیں جھکی ہوئی ہوں گی۔
یہ کہتے ہیں کیا ہم ضرور لوٹائے جائیں گے پہلی حالت میں۔
کیا جب ہم ہو جائیں گے ہڈیاں کھوکھلی۔
کہتے ہیں کہ یہ پھر لوٹنا سراسر نقصان کا ہوگا۔
تو بس ڈانٹ ہوگی ایک بار۔
اس وقت وہ سب آ جمع ہوں گے حشر میں۔
کیا تم کو پہنچی ہے حکایت موسیٰ کی۔
جب پکارا اس کو اس کی رب نے پاک میدان طوٰی میں ۔
جاؤ فرعون کے پاس یقینًا وہ سرکش ہو گیا ہے۔
پھر کہو کہ کیا تو چاہتا ہے یہ کیا پاک ہو جائے۔
اور میں تجھے رستہ بتاؤں تیرے رب کا تاکہ تجھ کو خوف پیدا ہو۔
غرض اس نے دکھائی اس کو بڑی نشانی۔
مگر اس نے جھٹلایا اور نہ مانا۔
پھر لوٹ گیا اور تدبیریں کرنے لگا۔
سو اس نے اکٹھا کیا لوگوں کو پھر پکارا۔
سو کہنے لگا میں ہوں تمہارا رب سب سے بڑا۔
تو پکڑ لیا اس کو اللّٰہ نے عذاب میں آخرت اور دنیا کے۔
بے شک اس میں قدرت اس کے لیے جو اللّٰہ سے ڈر رکھتا ہے۔
کیا تمہارا مشکل ہے بنانا یا آسمان کا اللّٰہ نے اس کو بنایا۔
اونچا کیا اس کی چھت کو پھر اس سے برابر کر دیا۔
اور تاریک بنائی اس کی رات کو نکالی اس کے دن میں دھوپ۔
اور زمین کو اس کے بعد پھیلا دیا۔
نکالا اس میں سے اس کا پانی اور اس کا چارہ۔
اور پہاڑوں کو اس پر بوجھ رکھ دیا۔
فائدے کو تمہارے لیے اور تمہارے مویشیوں کے لیے۔
پھر جب ائے گی وہ آفت بہت بڑی۔
اس دن یاد کرے گا انسان جو کچھ ہو کرتا رہا۔
اور سامنے لا کر رکھ دی جائے گی دوزخ خر دیکھنے والے کے۔
پس یہ کہ جس نے سرکشی کی۔
اور مقدم رکھا زندگی کو اس دنیا کے۔
تو بے شک دوزخی ہے اس کا ٹھکانہ۔
اور یہ تھے جو ڈرتا رہا کھڑے ہونے سے اپنے رب کے سامنے اور رکتا رہا نفس کو بیجا خواہشوں سے۔
تو بے شک بہشت ہی ہے اس کا ٹھکانہ۔
(اے پیغمبر صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم) یہ تم سے پوچھتے ہیں قیامت کے بارے میں کہ کب اس کی آمد ہے۔
سو تم کو کیا کام اس کے ذکر سے۔
تمہارے عربی کو معلوم ہے اس کے واقع ہونے کا وقت۔
بس تم تو ڈر سنانے والے ہو اسی کو جو اس سے ڈرتا رکھتا ہے ۔
تو ایسا خیال کریں گے جس دن وہ اس کو دیکھیں گے کہ گویا نہیں رہے تھے دنیا میں مگر ایک شام یا صبح۔
Comenzando en el nombre de Allah, el Misericordioso, el Misericordioso.
Por los ángeles que se ahogan y se quitan la vida.
Y los que se quitan la vida fácilmente.
Y los que nadan rápido.
Luego avanzan.
Luego manejan los asuntos del mundo.
El día que tiembla, el terremoto.
Luego vendrá tras él y tras el terremoto.
¡Cuántos corazones tendrán miedo ese día!
Sus ojos se inclinarán.
Dicen: “¿Seremos devueltos en primer lugar?”
¿Cuando nos convertimos en huesos huecos?
Se dice que será una pérdida total volver de nuevo.
Así que solo será regañado una vez.
En ese momento se reunirán todos.
¿Te ha llegado la historia de Moisés?
Cuando invocó a su Señor en la llanura sagrada de Tawa.
Ve a Faraón, ciertamente se ha vuelto rebelde.
Luego diga: “¿Quieres que sea purificado?”
Y yo te mostraré el camino de tu Señor, para que tengas miedo.
Así que le mostró una gran señal.
Pero él negó y no creyó.
Luego regresó y comenzó a hacer planes.
Así que se reunió y volvió a llamar al pueblo.
Y él dijo: “Yo soy tu Señor, el más grande”.
Así que lo Alá le castigó en la otra vida y en el mundo.
Él tiene poder sobre los que temen a Alá.
¿Es difícil para ti hacerlo, o Dios lo ha hecho del cielo?
Volvió a levantar el techo.
Y oscureció su noche, y sacó la luz del sol en su día.
Y después de eso se extendió la tierra.
Sacó de ella su agua y su forraje.
Y puso los montes sobre él.
Beneficio para usted y para su ganado.
Luego, cuando llega, ese desastre es muy grande.
Ese día el hombre recordará lo que sucedió.
Y el infierno será traído delante de aquel que lo vea.
Es decir, el que se rebeló.
Y poner la vida en primer lugar de este mundo.
Así que el infierno es su morada.
Y ellos fueron los que temieron estar delante de su Señor y se detuvieron ante los vanos deseos.
Verdaderamente, el paraíso es su morada.
Te preguntan sobre el Día de la Resurrección cuando llegará.
Entonces, ¿qué haces con la mención de él?
Tu árabe sabe la hora en que sucedió.
Tú no eres más que un amonestador para el que le teme.
Así que tal cosa atrapaste Pensarán el día que lo vean como si ya no estuvieran en el mundo, sino una tarde o una mañana.
Benefits to Surah An Naziat
Strengthening faith in the Hereafter
The recitation of Surah Al-Naza’at strengthens the believer’s faith in the Hereafter and the Last Day, reminding that the worldly life is coming and everyone has to give an account of his deeds to Allah.
Encouragement to live a good life

سورۃ النازعات کی تلاوت مومن کے ایمان کو آخرت اور قیامت کے دن پر مزید پختہ کرتی ہے یہ یاد دلاتی ہے کہ دنیاوی زندگی ا رہی ہے اور ہر شخص کو اپنے اعمال کا حساب اللہ کے حضور دینا ہوگا۔
نیک زندگی گزارنے کی ترغیب
یہ سورہ مومنین کو نیکی کی راہ پر چلنے اور غرور و نافرمانی سے بچنے کی ہدایت دیتی ہے۔ نیکی اور برائی کے درمیان واضح فرق بیان کر کے یہ ایمان پر ثابت قدم رہنے کی زبردست ترغیب فراہم کرتی ہے۔
اللّٰہ کی قدرت پر غور و فکر
اس سورت کی بار بار تلاوت انسان کو اللہ کی بے پناہ قدرت اس کی تخلیقات اور کائنات کے منظم نظام پر غور و فکر کی دعوت دیتی ہے۔ یہ تدبر اللّٰہ کے قرب اور اس کے احترام میں اضافے کا باعث بنتا ہے۔
اللّٰہ کی انصاف پسندی کی یاد دہانی
یہ سورہ یاد دلاتی ہے کہ اللہ ہر ایک کے ساتھ عدل و انصاف کرے گا اور کوئی بھی اپنے برے اعمال کے انجام سے نہیں بچ سکے گا۔ یہ یقین مشکلات میں صبر و استقامت کو مضبوط کرتا ہے۔
عاجزی اختیار کرنے کی ترغیب
فرعون کی سرکش طبیعت کا ذکر ہمیں تکبر سے دور رہنے کا سبق دیتا ہے۔ سورۃ النازعات کی بار بار تلاوت انسان کو عاجزی اپنانے اور اللّٰہ کی مدد پر بھروسہ کرنے کی تلقین کرتی ہے۔
Fortaleciendo la fe en el Más Allá
La recitación de la Sura An-Naza’at fortalece la fe del creyente en el Más Allá y el Último Día, recordando que la vida mundana está llegando y que todos tienen que rendir cuentas de sus obras a Allah.
